Yoga For Strong Bones

Yoga for Strong Bones is based on a 10 year Study from 2016 called Twelve-Minute Daily Yoga Regimen Reverses Osteoporotic Bone Loss, which identified twelve poses for their calculated effects and their safety on 3 sites in the body that are among the most commonly fractured: the spine, femur and hip.

Classes will include:

• Mindful Warm up
• Preparatory strengthening exercises
• Review of basic elements of each pose
• Intermediate and classical versions of each pose
• Relaxation

You will prepare for and practice for the whole 12-yoga pose regimen! Afterwards, we’ll address individual concerns about the poses as well as next steps and tools to move forward in your commitment to your bone strength.

Yoga For Strong Bones Intensive

This series is the same as the regular 5-week series but we’ll be doing the 12 poses over the course of two days. This series is appropriate for people who have experience with yoga.

Join Jennifer for a 5-week series focusing on 12 yoga poses. This series is appropriate for beginners to advanced movers.
